Having just bought a new bike, fancy getting it transported from Cambridge area back to me in Kent. Anyone reccommend such a service?
Well I have me own van...but, there's guys on EBay auctioning such a service. If I were you I'd just hire a van tbh and buy a few tie-downs. Then you can be sure your pride and joy will be looked after.

I did same and but got the shop to deliver as they then carry the risk if there's any damage etc en-route. (not that there was - all very much in order and most secure).
For peace of mind i'd get them to deliver and if you work it out cost wise it shouldn't be too much more than hiring a van/fuel. One big factor for me was my time too and i was happy to pay someone else rather than waste a holiday.
Best of luck.:)

Cheers will give the transport peeps a bell and look into a comparison to van/fuel/time.

The lad who bought my R6 had a bike collection firm pick mine up in Swindon and taken to Gatwick area, cost him £150. Mind you they did do a round robin around the country, so price was probably slightly higher to cover fuel and night stopovers..
