Just got into work, after a wet ride, to activiate my alarm (datatool system 3) to find that there is no beeping noise when you activate or deactivate the alarm.http://www.ducatisportingclub.com/xmb/images/smilies/mad.gif
Anyone else had this problem? This will be the second problem with said alarm, it used to keep going off after I washed the 749.

Switch ignition on.
Wait for alarm to go off.
Switch off alarm.
Start engine.
:D
Probably an over-active sleep mode.

Hate alarms on bikes. Nothing but trouble and won't stop it being nicked for a moment. The on board imobiliser is enough to get an insurance discount. ;)

I had mine removed - drove me nuts :o
All insurance companies I have spoken to recognise the DataTool. It's just about the most famous bike alarm. Not necesaarily the best, although I've never had any problems.
