Some people have vans, not the most comfy, some people tow caravans with a van, some have a campervan and bike trailer, one or two have converted caravans, personally I use a trailer and normally find a local B&B or travelodge, propper bed, heating and bath to keep the misses happy much more civilised.

I've got a caravan to use this year. (Or should I say shed on wheels) it only cost me £200 from a friend of a friend so they can be picked up cheap. I camped in a tent at cadwell last year and had a bad back for about a week. I've seen a couple converted to carry bikes in and looks like a good alternative to buying a van.

Had a caravan converted when i raced, great, even went caravaning in the lake district after the conversion.
make sure you get one with a side toilet, other wise no chance of converting it.

Jigsaw with a long metal cutting blade or reciprocating saw with metal cutting blade, demolition blade would be better as it is thicker.

Went for the Makita 18volt circular saw in the end, post some pics when photostream starts behaving again

COR, I could make a reyt mess with that !

I'd have to buy a spare caravan for when the first one was reduced to a pile of scrap and saw dust !:o

Think you might regret using a circular saw, like I said, a recip or jigsaw will be much more controllable, believe me I have converted a caravan before.

My makita saw only has a 5" blade, extremely controllable as the saw itself is so light, I've used it the past for anything from cutting hob cut outs in work tops to trimming curved bath panels
