View Full Version : Picture resizing
Someone kindly told me of a utility I could use with XP to do this easily. Just had to reconfigure my puter and the da*n thing has disappeared.
Can anyone help please ?
At it's simplest, just go to 'my pictures' on the start menu, then double click your piccy. Should start up "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer". Second icon from the right there's an edit icon that launches MS Paint. Go to the 'Image' menu in MS Paint and you can look at attributes to see how many pixels the image is sized at, then you can go to stretch and skew to adjust the size by percentage. You can then 'save as' a jpg file and Roberts your mothers brother.
Not very sophisticated but it works and it's all part of the XP package
Thanks Jools....but the other utility was so simple...just a right click and two more clicks as I remember and it was all done !
GRRRRRRRRRRRR!
It is one of the power tools that you can download from microsoft.
