Folks,

I received an email at work today from our PR department in Maersk Oil.

Please check out the following link to a new discount card scheme being launched which claims to promise 5-10p off per litre of fuel.

http://www.pipelinecard.org/default.html

The idea seems simple enough, i have followed all the news links in the article and they seem genuine enough and have registered.

Nothing really given away in the registration process and even giving your home address at this stage is optional so seems harmless enough.

Anyone heard of it?

Get yourselves registered and lets get up to the figure required to get the cards sent out if it is after all genuine.

Feel free to knick this post and put it on other forums you are a member of.

Regards

ScottyB

I wonder if my race bike would run on this fuel, only 20p per litre:

Ultra Low Cost Value Unleaded (50 RON): Especially popular with Rover Metro and Nissan Micra drivers, our 50 RON ULCVU fuel is made from refinery leftovers. This is a very inexpensive fuel indeed as it is actually classified as industrial waste rather than fuel.

Excellent site, they've certainly cornered the market in high-perfomance fuels. They even sell petrol with NOx already in it which saves on the costs of an expensive conversion!
