Hi,

Just about to put a set of new tyres on my bike, my first choice would be Pirelli Diablo Corsa. Had these on my 749s and loved them, but, have not bought a pair of tyres in a while so I was wondering if these are still good tyres or have they been improved ?

Tend to ride sunny days only, mainly road with the odd track day.

Any suggestions.

Yes they are still good - more than good enough for anyone most of the time including on the track. Supercorsa Pros are better again but, they are race tyres and not really at all suitable for anything other than proper race use.

What he said ^^^^^

If you can go faster than Diablo Corsas can go, you must be very brave and very quick.

i would say they would be fine. if you find them slipping on a hot fast trackday then its time to move up to supacorsa's. they are more than adequate

I'm still happy to use D207s on the road. Perfectly fine for anything from touring to knee-down. They work well on a big heavy Triumph.

YEP I run a Diablo corsa front and a standard Diablo rear ! Still one of the best tyres around

That's cos you can't ride a race tyre hard enough on the road to get enough heat into it. They're designed to work at elevated temperatures in a narrowly-defined performance envelope - a road tyre has to cope with a much wide variation in conditions and therefore has to be more forgiving and flexible. People often make the mistake of thinking that sticky race rubber is gonna be better for the road - it isn't.

I'd go for standard Diablos.
