For when you 'show' your bike (749) what size plates do you guys have?
Have you gone for a squareish one or a 'all on one line' one?
Pics please if possible.
Thanks.

i had my collar felt last year on my gixxer 1000 i had an inline plate he told me to change it asap and sent me on my way with just a slapped wrist
The law does say it should be on 2 lines. I think if its decent type font and around 7x5 you wont go far wrong!

9x3 with figures as large as possible.
Went through a number plate reader camera and it read it fine. I was given a correction notice and a slapped wrist.
First and last time I've been stopped for the number plate in 2 years. General comments are that it is smaller than it should be, but, I'm not taking the p1ss so I normally get away with a friendly talking too.

Unless you're stopped by the North Wales cops. They don't use rulers round here, they use micrometers!:o:lol:
3x2" as you will be nicked for anything less than standard round here!
so why pi55 about going 1inch smaller:eureka:

I keep mine standard, I dont want the hassle of being stopped for the plate, which then goes on to the mmmm wheres the e mark on that 54mm full race Termi system. Here have another piece of paper. I got stopped on my old ZX9 which had a smaller plate, I played dumb as it was a 6 digit plate and they let me off. That bike was standard and they looked all over it so I thought keep the obvious bits standard in future. The termis look the same ish as its really only the holes at the back which are bigger to the eye.
