Very bad man....

Today I set up my 800ss on the dyno, played with the Power Commander and got an extra 5-6bhp all the way from 4.5k to 8k which was nice & handy.

Now, I've been having a bloody bad week for one reason or another so, despite resolving to wait until 01/04, I went out on the bike to Teesdale via Barny to get some fresh air.

I'd forgotten how good a Ducati is when on song. :D My 800 might not be very fast (140 at best) but, between 70-115 it is awesomely quick, short-shifting at 6-6.5 it is very impressive and faster than my Triumph by a fair margin I reckon. It has loadsa grunt. I couldn't hammer along too fast on new tyres but, it was so easy tooling along at 110 down to Middleton and beyond. I can see this bike is gonna make me misbehave a bit. Roll on warm days and dry roads.....oh and the exhaust note and induction roar through the open airbox lid is to die for.
