the end part of the little knob that turns to reset the trip meter on my 748 is missing...will this have snapped off or is the actual knob bit a part that i can buy and stick back in please? or do i have to buy something else? cant keep sticking a screwdriver in there to turn the number dials.

LOL

Go to the Ducati website and download the parts list for your model.

748s parts list reads 77640021a for the screw and 800056742 for what they call the grip I would assume that they are all the same but best to check.

:puzzled:

It's held in by a little screw, so I expect you had a screw loose and it fell off ;)

If you can't buy them separately (any dealer will be able to tell you from the part no.s) then you might get lucky with a smacked up or broken speedo off ebay or similar, and just rob the bit you need.
