it's got 16500mls on the clock very dirty but it looks standard apart from some noisy pipes (don't know which make) and the headlight has been replaced by some twin beam streefighter monstrosity , i don't if know it's been serviced properly yet .
its advertised as POA and it's in a dealer so he may not want to budge on the price, but what should i offer him for it?, i want to buy it as a project /do upper /runabout

start at £750 and go up to £995 as dealer will want space for better bikes.
worth a chance

Hmm they want £1995 for it if they put all the standard stuff back on (prev owner kept it all) , and £1500 as a trade sale as is .
I'll have to think about that one :rolleye: depends how the green meanie problem pans out

I'd beat them down to around £1100.

Offer them the £1500,but with all the standard stuff too AND only if they can guarantee up to date servicing.

Or walk away.

Yes, I'd say £1500 for "scruffy but up-together, serviced, and no extra money needed to start riding".

Rather less for " replacement bits and full service required".

I'd have thought 1500 for something that age and scruffy was too much to be honest.
If it has no history and looks abused then £1100 would be my max.
