As i'm having to replace the seals on the SP5,wondered about fork oil makes. Is there a better/worse one?Are they all as good as each other?Choice is Shell,Silkolene, motul really.

Ohlins also sell their own brand fork oil,£19.65 per litre!.Imagine with Ohlins its a case of which brand is easier to clean off the garage floor:)
Rock Oil products always work for me,good oil and competitive prices.

plus the Ohlins oil has special cleaning agents that remove all the dirt and grime off your fork bottoms,as it passes out of the ill fitting seals!Fortunately Showas on mine!!!!

Hmm. Sorry Jasper, but I can't ignore the irony. Your Showas are LEAKING..!

Ohlins for me, no question. The difference in 'feel' is quite tangible.

My Showas have been "Maxton-ed",and yes the irony is quite profound.I did go through 4 sets of seals in 18 months on my SP4(Ohlins),so one set in 13 years isn't too bad for the Showas!!
