View Full Version : Herts/Beds/Bucks Area or near
Hi all, I have not long finished restoring a beautiful 996s and am looking to come out to a meet in the local area. I have previously raced at club level and a few BSB meetings and also have an SV1000 I do 2 up work with. I see there is a meet in the Oxon/Berks area regularly and an Essex meet. Does anything happen more centrally in the northern home counties? No problem if not, just wondering how this scene is run in my area. Peter

Hi Peter,
I used to ride with the Beds, Herts, Cambs, Northants group of the DSC and before that the North Bucks Ducati Club. I am based in east Northants and ride a 998S amongst other m/cycles.
The BHCN group has pretty much expired but I am keen to rekindle the Ducati spirit in this area so if you would like to meet up for ride and a chat please let me know.

If you guys wants to get together, pick a well-known local place, maybe even an existing bike meet, and post up the details as there are bound to be a few more (shy!) people that want to come along.
You can post the details up and we can update the list of meetings and hopefully we can rekindle the meetings!
If you need help we can send you some DSC cards that you can hand out to people as reminders... just let me know if you want some.

Hi Guys,
Im based around the Welwyn/St Albans area and looking to meet up locally with some Ducatisti. I used to help run the bucks area meet way back in DSC's infancy with mate who now doesnt ride. Im lucky enough to own a Ducati superbike and a hyperstrada for 2up duty with the mrs.
Be good to meet up and press the flesh as there arent seemingly any meets in the Herts/Bucks/Middx areas.
Hope to see you out soon.
Tim
Hi all, due to the mrs moving in and selling her house then selling mine and working in London, I don't sadly have the time just at the minute to organise anything, but, I am happy to come along to something if I'm free. Clearly there are a few people in the area who are between oxon and Essex.........

it would be nice to see some of you lot out as I'm always about on my red thing...
Is there a call for a BHCN regular meet again?
We used to meet over at either Grafham Water (for the more northern part of the area) or The Chester Arms at Chicheley (nr Bedford)
Who would be interested in re-starting a regular meet?
Rob - I know we talked about this over the winter - anyone else? Something like pick one Sunday a month - 3rd Sunday perhaps??
We also used to a regular evening meet during the summer months as well - also from the Chester Arms...

I'm interested!
Not that I know where any of those places are?
And evening meets sound like a good idea...
You can count me in, just for the summer though lol

Sounds like you've just restarted the monthly meeting :)
I'll add this to the calendar so people can "subscribe" to the event and get reminder emails before the date.

Could be a plan, I pass the place on a regular basis while out and about in the works van and was up that way on the Monster the other week when doing a 3 day course in Towcester. Been a while since I've stopped in there, not been since the old BHCN regional group split up.

It not a bad place to meet and the food is ok. On the first Friday evening of the month they have a band and the car park is normally pritty full. And if it get too much you have the super sausage down the road.
Billing Bike feast this weekend in Northampton, May give it a look on Sunday if the weather holds!?
Don't forget guys and gals meet at Jacks Hill cafe next Friday to get this side of the club up and going again then we can all decide a more regular meet place see you there.

For the next one on the 5th I will definitely try to pass by as I've just bought a new toy, I have upgraded from a 848 to a 1199 Panigale :-)
It would be nice to meet up with some other Ducati lovers as it's looking like there is not a lot of us these days, I will probably make my way to the ace cafe after if it doesn't get that late?

Good work guys - spread the DSC love if you get the chance!
I have some DSC "calling cards" that we give out if you guys want some. You can leave them on bikes or give them out to people at meets.
Just PM me your details and I can send you a stack along with some stickers.

You can take the back way to the Ace a little better.
The super sausage and jacks café on the A5 are good places to meet of a Sunday am.
On your bike in Aylesbury the a good burger/coffee van.
Or the Cotswolds are a stones throw away.

Hi all the weather is getting better so its time to get your bikes out .I been riding this year for a couple of months ,so if any one in the bucks Milton Keynes Bedford Luton area whats to meet may be once a month it would be super to see any one .
I'm certainly up for it, but I'm a dry rider I'm afraid, first hint of rain and I'm tucked up indoors! I notice Jack's Hill is still posted as a 1st Friday meet, but this seems to have fallen by the wayside, does anyone do the Chester Arms meet?

But I suppose it is a Ducati forum so 748, will see if I can get mate on his 916 sps.
Now you're just showing off! If I had as many bikes I'd have one less wife! Once this one's paid for, maybe another...
