Might still be a bit tight then. Some bikes seem more prone than others. If it happens quite a bit, get it checked. You don't want an accident because of it.

Yeah,they do that sometimes.
The injection does need setting up carefully.

Please don't start me on this one grrrrrrrrrrr my 749R has again just been transported back to the supplying dealer after months of trying to sort it out.

It was returned to me mid jan after nearly 3 months away only to be worse than it was when it went away.

I have had to employed a solicitor to ensure this is resolved fairly I'm hoping to discuss and agree a resolution next week when they have looked at the bike again but I have lost faith and want to reject the bike on the ground of unfit for purpose.

Everybody on hear has suggested a fix but trust me my bike todate has had all the fixes without success.

Sounds normal to me. Tell Ducati and they should check the ECU air fuel mix. Mine did the same until the first service

Cam timing and CO2 needs checking/setting up IMHO.

my 2003 749s did it very frequently. i started to use 98 unleaded petrol and its quite rare now, maybe once or twice each ride.

I think i would check the fuel/air on the ducati kit. Too much money to pop it.

Hmmm. calm happy thoughts, positive attitude. Be calm..

Just ask yourself this,:
"If all of the cars owned by Ducati UK, by their managers, their clerks and their workers, were to regularly cut out each day, maybe 2 or 3 times on their way into work, or on their way home - do you think they would just put up with it, or would they be wanting a new car without delay"?

Hmmm, happy thoughts.
In saying that though, I am more than happy with my latest duke and hasn't missed a beat in the ten months I've owned it.
