Knight RR team report from Brands (apologies to Pam Ayres)

We went there in the sun on the Saturday afternoon
Watched the cars race - and set up our camp.
Forgot the supper so Paul made a dash
Right back to Woking, and back to Brands Hatch:o

Morning arrived – and so did the rain, which stayed for the day
Qualifying took for ever ‘cos of delays
New tyres on Snotty, Paul completed each race
Tango all set to make Andy’s best race.

Lousy starts for Andy - made up later on -
He battled with Domski till Andy had won (just)
Domski all smiles as he toyed with our chap
Best weekends racing – lap by lap.

Lots of mates seen – sorry no time -
To natter (and thump you all) this time, as
Making the teas and lunches too -
Gave us no time to come over to you

Camaraderie in the paddock was lovely to witness
As Psychlists bike got the DSC mitts on it,
Others too who fell in the races -
Managed to get themselves out in the thick again

Bikes got so grubby & wet - the gazebo was wringing
We didn’t care tho - but we were so tired - as
Those Brummies can party into the wee small hours!

Dom – you made our weekend
Your confidence out there on track
Was a joy to behold
We are so glad you got it all back!

Big thank yous to all the DSC members
Who sent us texts, and later emails
Its lovely to have them -
But we are only doing what you could do too!

Next off to Assen on this merry go round -
More to pack in then for foreign shores
More dicing with Domski
Looks to be the score!

Excellent results, very pleasing to see people who give so much to the club doing so well :D

just had another job interview this morning, so am quietly confident that I wont be able to post here in the daytimes much longer.:)
(and anyway - I hate all this cooking/cleaning etc that needs doing when on 'enforced' activities at home!)

Congrats to Andy and Dom. Showing everybody how it should be done. Was a joy to watch. Bit of a scary moment between the two of them coming out of Clearways though.

Had fun dicing with Paul. Hopefully we'll work our way further up the pack.

Am looking forward to doing it all again in Holland. IN THE BLOODY DRY!!
