T'Internet problem

For some strange reason T'Internet has started buggering around.

I can only get to pages either in my favourites or links from them. ie I cannot type www.??? into the address bar and hit go as it does nowt.

Any thoughts???

Had a check on plusnet and did a broadband check but nothing wrong apparently with connections.

have you cleared out your temporary internet file recently ? re-booted your PC ?

Yes both. No change.

I clicked on the pull down bit at the end of the address bar and get the timer mouse icon and just stays there...

Try a system restore if your running windows XP.

I am and thinking about it problem has started since Norton installed a Microsoft update.
