In need of new tyres, thinking either D207rr, D208 or BT010, any opionions welcome.
Also, anybody know reliable ride in ride out in the Hants region? I have heard a couple of horror stories about Micheldever Tyres where I was going to go. Any ideas?
Paul
I went to Micheldever for a new rear tyre just before doing 1700 miles round France & Spain. Never heard of anything bad about them, I'd still go there.
Have used Micheldever on many occasions, always found the service in the bike bay excellent and the prices hard to beat.

Jasper, thanks for the offer, but I am egdging to 207rr. I have looked at mail order but where can you get them fitted?
As for M/dever, it looked quote good when I went there to price up the tyres, and will be going next week to get rubbered up. May be I just needed others to confirm positive experiences.

I have been quoted £175 ride in ride out - can you beat that? I work in Farnborough so you are not far. Will you be doing tyres mobile at Popham? Also, how to 208 compare really with 207 - I mainly ride in the sun but intend to do some touring (!) next year so need somthing ok in the wet.
Cheers

On Wednesday had a new BT010 fitted, okay took tyre in, but i know that Cox's in Eastleigh will do fitted to bike, although not sure about charge.
Paid £100 for a new 010 rear. Was easier to pop in there, as i was on my way home from Christchurch.

Had my front BT010 done at Wraysbury Tyres at the weekend... our very own 'Tyreman' on this board (he of Popham).
Anyone in the Surrey/W London/South region would be advised to give him a shout for tyres next time...took good care of the rims and very good prices!

......he also takes great care with the wheels, if you can get to Wraysbury / Chertsey area - he's your man.

Paul,
You can also try Mark Wilson at Ride in Bike Tyres in Reading - recommended to me by Weeksy. He fitted my BT012s.
Tyreman comes highly recommended & he gave me a competitive quote for my BT012s - only problem is you have to get to Chertsey & I didn't have time to get there in the end.

Had my 012ss's suplied and fitted by the Tyreman at Mallory, top bloke, top service and top price ...
Sorry I couldnt get the car over to hom as he was cheapest on that as well, but location was a bit far after the nail let go ... whooops...
