Nobody wants some?

It seems JC (the guy who make them in France) would prefer to send a parcel with 3 to 5 seats as it would make you save on the shipping cost (but then you must collect it at my place in Surrey or wait for the next DD meeting...). Any taker?

Graham?
Ian?
Ali? You will need a spare won't you?

I'm gonna need a 600ss full fairing and seat unit - can this guy do both?

I'll start another thread about this.

I think that's his job. Making fairings. He was the official dealer for the Ducati France race series a few years ago...

I'm interested Tonio - as long as it's better than the crap Ricambi seat unit and FITS.

I'll let you know guys, I've asked him some pictures. Ali has already bought a seat unit from him, maybe he can tell you what he thinks about it...

In fact I'd have two if they fit properly :)

Does it use the standard seat ?

Well, this is the seat unit that was fitted to Ali's bike that I raced on Sunday.

I can say this, the seat is reasonably solid but is already showing cracks. Also, it raises the seat height considerably.

Just some considerations.

Either it does, either it doesn't. He has made different seat units for the SSie. Last season I had one on my bike which is a cover for the standard seat, but I think the other guys are after a real monoposto seat unit...

I've attached a pix of my bike last year.

I would certainly be interested in one for my 750SSie Minitwin if the price is right

Tonio have you got the one you used last year that covers the standard seat ? I've put the standard seat and tank back on mine but still need the rear bodywork, if you aren't using your old one, want to sell it ?

Good point about the seat height - the bike's are already tall especially if you raise the ride height to quicken the steering.

For the benefit of others:

Ricambi mono-seat cover (http://www.ricambi-weiss.de/shop/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=26)

Whatever you do don't buy the mono 900ssie seat - it's poor.

Did you just buy on line or contact them direct ?

I bought online. No complaints about the service or delivery...delivery was very quick indeed. I can't remember how I paid though - I think it was Paypal.

I've a complete set of Ricambi ssie stuff - it kinda fits but needed lots of cutting and sanding to get it to do so...I suppose that's why it's cheap.

If you order from Ricambi-Weiss, go through the shopping cart procedure and order the parts - they don't ask for credit card details or anything like that.

You'll then get an email arrive (so make sure you put the right email address in the form!) which has his PayPal details on so you can pay that way.

Then just pay via PayPal and quote your order number (also on the email) and away you go.
