Does the race ecu with the termi raise when the rev limiter kicks in?

I don't think so, but I'm only guessing...
my sixpenneth on this is.
when i look at my power chart peak torque and bhp are below the rev limiter anyway....... so to keep it "on cam" i would be changing gear before the rev limiter kicked in anyway.
I was told that the cpu has an semi limiter prior to the full limiter. Almost like an early warning.......... this can be felt and heard as you go up the revs around 500rpm prior to the rev limiter.

my 999S keeps the power coming right up to the limiter cuts in at 10200rpm, but I try and change up early in the lower gears.
ps that is with a race eu,

I think it'll depend upon what "race|" ecu you have. i was told that the full race ecu's can be altered to allow higher rev limits but are reliant on engine mods as well. for example the 999RS manual shows max power at 12500 rpm wheras an R is 9750

No it doesnt! look at any power graph youll see the power drop off before max revs.
