I am looking info on concrete headers above windows , ie limits cost

I have two windows in my kitchen that i am looking to change into one large one

I have 1.8m window with brick divider 0.8m wide then another window 0.7m wide

I am looking to change this into one window around 2.5m or more , any help would be wellcome

This is downstairs in a two floor house

You need to add 150mm to each end for bearing so the total length of the lintel will be 2.8m. Much easier to do it with a steel catnic lintel

http://www.catnic.com/product_display.asp?id=CN4B&swl=11_31&productcode=_&length=2850&wallcon=_&comment=Classic%20Combined%20Box&swl_value=10&cav=0&inner=0&outer=0&searchtype=product_selector.asp&selectorpage=1

However you do it, building control will have to be consulted.

I don't know really. The wall above would need supporting while the existing lintels are taken out, you'd need a new lintel plus a window then plastering etc. The lintel won't be expensive.
I'm an technician, we don't really get invloved in pricing but i would have thought around £1k for the supply and fit of the new lintel then fitting the new window on top. You'd get change from £2k all in.
I'd just get a local builder to come round and give you a quote.

Oh, and 2.5m is a seriously big window! You might have trouble getting one that size.
