No serious interest at all.
The white number board wasnt actually my idea, gave the painter a pic for the seat unit!,but as theyd done such a good job,I didnt have the heart to ask for the nosecone to be done again.
I,ll hang on for a week or two, then its breaking for parts time, most of the major parts have buyers.

it's a real shame a bike like that has to be parted out to recoup your investment, i couldn't do it.

Do you mean to say that you will get more for the bike if you break it than if you sell it complete?

I can't get my head around that one:puzzled:

Yes,its(probably)worth more as individual parts than complete.Only had one enquiry for it at £4300,but lots for parts.Whats the cheapest you can buy a 888 for,add the cost of a repaint, belts, injection setup, valve clearances etc, tyres,Odyssey battery etc......Then look at the prices for SP silencers,888 parts on fleabay for instance.

That's a very sweet bike Eric. Like KeefyB I can't understand you having a problem selling at that price with all that work done on it.

I bought my standard Strada for £4,750 which included a big service, new battery, tyres etc...so the base bike was probably about £4K and that was from a dealer, but it doesn't have high level exhausts or a single seat unit, I'll have to buy those for meself.
