Jeez Jewell...I bet that crack gets a little wider every time you land the front wheel as well.

There could be some kind of perverse, reverse psychology going on in the boys head, could be a cry for help, such as...

"I'm doin' 130+ on a bike with a badly cracked frame, I hope I get pulled by the law and banned so that I can't fulfil my death wish"

Joking apart .... stopped twice in a short space of time for speeding so much over the limit both times, you could find the court asking for reviews and reports to see why you feel you need to ride so fast etc etc.

What ever happens I hope you don't end up doing time for speeding ....

I suppose part of it will come down to the133mph, was this the highest speed you reached or the speed they are going to report you for. If it was a speed trap I guess the figures will be the same.

When I was done last May my highest speed was 128mph, yet, when the wrote me up they did me for an average 102mph over the distance and I got points and a fine. Guess I was still lucky getting points as I was over the 97mph cut off point.

Ed will ya ever learn !

And yes we did keep up a very good pace a couple Sundays ago but as I have said before there are times and places to have fun !

It's not a good Idea to be exceeding 30 40 and 50 limits and Motor ways 90 is more than fast enough !

Ducati riders are obviously a different breed, please don’t conform. The speed limits are an ass made for the near blind, dim witted, day dreaming car driver enforced by an mismanaged, ego driven, opinionated, self serving, police force. Why is it safe to do these speeds on a 4 lane autobahn and not safe on a 6 lane motorway.
Not good to speed in built up areas though 90 in a 40 that is bad form.
As for jail time what is this country coming to, (George Orwell was right). Why are you guys buying bikes that will do 160 mph+. Get a Cagiva 125 that will reach the speed limit (if that is your upper restriction). Don’t ride sports bikes and bitch about someone speeding they an uncompromising machine made for such speeds.
I wont even tell you the speeds I’ve done you might wet your pants. PS chicken strips on a Ducati what a crying shame. Get rid of them!

Guess what, we're all dying to know. Speed is so frightening for us clever people... Please, please, let us know. We all want to know what is a real man with real balls (in place of the brain).

Thanks for sharing that.

However, you appear to have your head firmly wedged up your arse as you forgot the one important thing about speed: the conditions.

There are hundreds of 40mph limited roads I could name which are perfectly safe to do 90mph on, as a lot of these are straight pieces of dual carriageway that run for miles with perfect visibility, but are marked as 40mph by the council.

I could also name lots of NSLs that are not safe to do 40mph on because the road is badly surfaced, has zero visibility round the corners and you're likely to end up wedged inside a horse rider.

Unless you were there at the time, and I'm guessing that you weren't, you cannot pass judgement on what is a safe speed.

Ah for chicken strips, don't they come in boxes of 3 from KFC?

But in all seriousness, it's lovely to see such a great biking icon as Valentino Rossi posting under an assumed name, and we look forward to you sharing your skills with us again in the future.

Think you've hit the point Mav.

We all like the speed buzz and most of us go fast enough, often enough not to wet our pants at the speeds that ducasa boasts about.

There are still loads of places, even in this country, that are far enough away from the attention of speed cameras, the long arm of the law, built up areas, schoolkids crossing etc...

Places far out in the country where you can ride your bike pretty much as fast as you like, or as fast as you dare, and where the only person who's at risk from your antics is yourself. Lots of us can, and do, open it up and exploit the performance of the bike in those conditions.

There's a time and a place for everything, but 90 in a 40 is just taking the ****, and 133 on a motorway considering they are usually festooned with cameras and just about the only places you'll find a traffic cop nowadays is just being thick.

Mav and Jools just about sum my feelings up on this one.

Jewell, dont know you mate but for heaven sake you need to cool it a little. If not for your own sake then for others on the road. Wouldnt fancy being out with the kids in the car anywhere in your vicinity when your frame breaks in 2 at 130 + mph.

Ducasa, dont know how you can generalise speed limits as you do. Some are there for very good reason. As for "dim witted, half blind, daydreaming car drivers" well its not them killing themselves left right and centre this past few weeks in the Dales/Cumbria etc. The spate of bad accidents and fatalities up here since the weather got better is mostly motorcyclists. Get the same thing every year people wheeling their bikes out for the first ride of the year and binning it. Maybe some of them also obssesing about getting rid of their chicken strips? Unless youre riding a drag bike I dont think you will reaching any speeds that would cause most members here soiled pants.

sorry been so high lately on crystal meth that i couldn't even turn my pc on......
but seriously.....

Has really messed me life up big time......was about to start new job....company car....really good money....a job i could of done for years and live happily on but "computer says no"

All farked....speak to the boss of the company on tuesday........seriously annoyed at myself but life goes on.....Hopefully being a biker himself and been banned 7 times in total....he might gimme some slack.

I speed when its safe to do so.....90 in a 40 yes silly....on a dual at 11pm and sunday morning on the m5.......not exactly dangerous but yes still stupid.
Never had any complaints about my riding.....all positive really.....Except when i wheelied past mogwai in his Van past 2 other cars, dropping the front asap to go round the bend and miss the oncoming car.... pmsl....but being a professional stunt rider/packer of fudge of the highest proportion....it was all under control and mogwai said it made his pants wet.

And i had my IAM test certificate training coming up soon as well.gutted.
