Metalic Monster 600

Does anyone know how many of these bikes were made. I know they were a limited factory run with the same spec as the Monster Dark tricked up (Metalflake tank etc) to sell them off as the 620's came into production.

The Metallic version appeared in 2000, colours were Bronze and Silver. It was still sold in 2001 though. I don't think that's a limited run.

I think those were different bikes. The metalic actualy says Monster Metalic on the side panel and the Ducati badge on the tank is in 3d. The tank is finished in purple/gey with deep metalflake coat on top. Almost sends you blind in bright sunlight.

No idea how many were made but my wife has got the 900 version.As you say,its basically a Dark with the glittery tank fitted.The tank looks differant colours in from certain angles.Base colour on hers was blue,although in some light it looks grey!I say was,because she thought the bike looked drab,so she has had the tank resprayed Corse stylee.
