Has anyone had any treouble with their rear seat base melting and deforming on their 749S bip?

My mates just taken his back to Ducati Leeds for a warranty replacement but dont know if there is a fix for the problem?

Might be worth having a look at yours to check for any signs of warping and get it to the dealers if so.

Don't tell me you had a go on it just before the seat melted !!!
:D:D:D

I read a post from America a while back about a 999 having body panels replaced due to heat damage , can't remember much else about it though !

Your right about the panels though, some peeps have had to have them replaced under warranty and the cause of this was again the exhaust but never heard of the seat doing it.
Never heard of the fix either!

my panel melted on my 999s and they replaced it. now my second one is going too. clearly needs heat shiled stuff putting on it. maybe they will do it properly this time !!!
