748 Oil consumption?

How much oil does your 748 use? i had to top it up after about 1300 miles of road riding. Is that par for the course?

I check it every time I go out, but apart from a little top-up after an oil change, nowt.

Yep. Ditto. Dunno where people get the scare stories about oil consumption from.

As above, no problems with oil.

Thanks. This was the first fill after an oil change, so I'll hope it settles down. I have a 600SS also, and it runs between oil changes without a top up too, so I was expecting the same from the 748.
