Not all of the 80 or so a took, just a selection. I think you'll get the gist. Fantastic time had by all of the BHCN raiders.

More shortly but the server keeps saying 'busy' so am off outside to wash my bike -yes full strip, wash and wax. She did me proud this weekend, the least I can do is give her more the a lick and a promise.
Nice to see you again Ruth, have you spoken to Mark yet?
Well yes, I had a little break down in a place I can't remember. It was caused by a dodgy fuse terminal which was not engaged in the fuse block properly and the fuse was only making contact with it by a hairsbreadth...not so good when it's the fuse for the fuel pump.
I had the courtesy to break down right outside a pub...well close enough for me to demonstrate how macho I am by running 20 yards pushing the bike in scorchio heat and full lid and leathers up a pretty steep hill to the pub.
Now I don't know why but Ruth's snap and the ones that Keefy or Marko took (on Gizmo's server) make it look for all the world as if I just stood around drinking lager while the rest of the BHCN massive fixed my bike for me, but I'd just like to say that although there was a lot of helpful advice, a bit of massed prodding and a bit of screw twirling, I did do most of the repair work myself.
You can tell that I did the repair work because of all the bolts that were missing from the fairing when we arrived in Glenridding

Theres a few great ones of the lake and Jetty on DuN. Theres a really nice one that I fancied printing out and framing. All the time I spent there and I never actually went down there to have a proper look, I had left my camera at home though so I have to rely on other folks pics. JPM was offering me £20 to go in the water and I think it got to £50 or more if I was to dive off the jetty. They would probably still be searching the lake bed now for my body! Would probably have drowned half of Pooley bridge had I done so.
Was wondering who took that one . Actually I noticed a few other shots where someone had a good eye for a decent photo .
i know lee took a photo of the lake from the jetty at about 7 am
dont know if it's that one though

It is an amazing photo of the jetty, Ian, which I can't lay claim to, unfortunately. I think it may have been Lee.
It was p!ssing down this morning when we left - definitely had the best of the weather for RTL. It's glorious hot and sunny down here, though.
Still having trouble reducing sizes enough to fit on here, though. Scenic ones don't want to post.

Nice to see you and Lily too, John. I rang No Limits this afternoon and spoke to someone called Caroline but she said there's no room in Inters, only Novice, and she didn't want to book me in to novice. I was wondering whether to take a chance and just book it anyway and try to get moved up (assuming I warrant it) but it's a lot of money to spend and then have to ride cautiously to avoid upsetting first timers. I think I'll wait to see if anyone drops out.
Ruth
I would go for it tbh. Oulton is big enough that worst case scenario you can't move in the first session you will have chance to get used to it.
Gwaaan you know you want to...!!

Booked Oulton Park so I'll be crashing at yours then, Lily and John, if that's OK. I'm calling it my end of term treat as I have final law exams next week so deserve to get out and enjoy myself.
Note to self, stop using the word 'crashing'.
Some lovely pictures there Ruth , Think you got me on my best side lol. I also thought Lee's jetty shot a cracker. Couple mine to add to collection.
