Just back from a fab weekend in France/Spain for the GP.

OK, so it wasn't the greatest race we've ever seen, and the first corner was sickening, but what an atmosphere, it was electric in the stadium section in the 125 and 250s (especically when Lorenzo nabbed 2nd on the last lap).

107000 people, no trouble getting in, not too difficult getting out, glorious weather, superb facilities - Donington will never be the same again!

Cheers
Martin

My 8 year old just came back from Mugello, sadly hard to get out, facilities could be better and food not a true example of Italian cooking. But the atmosphere and the racing the best I've ever experienced.
Try Mugello next time and let me know where you would prefer to go.
I'm finding if I only had one Moto GP a year, I'd have to ditch Donington.

We're planning to do Mugello next year. I know it's going to be a nightmare getting in and out, but it's just one of those things that we'll have to accept - it will be worth it.

I'm doing Donington this year, but it might turn out to be the last time, I can see us doing more Spanish races next year

Took the bike on a trailor was not bad a trip, but bumped into some guys at the factory visit and they were hiring there bikes direct from Ducati, costs were not outrageous and can get anything from the range, so may do that next year.

Hope to pick up photos later on today so may put some up if they are not all pictures of my feet or the sky and stick a few words along with them.

Seriously tempted by Valencia as well - my mate's brother lives in Alicante and we can use that as a base for Valencia - only trouble is I'm off to Poland for 5 months and it also clashes with the dinner dance... tough call, dinner dance, or Valencia....
See you at Donny - got my DUK passes last week :D
