Whalst i was cleaning my baby i noticed that one link on the did chain had gone tight, tried to free it a little which worked. But iv now got it booked in to get a new chain fitted (Tubacci i think) but is it worth havin my sprokets changed as well and also is it worth getting a renthal carrier or is there a cheeper equiverlent

Yes to the sprockets, it's classed as preferable to swap at the same time.... Renthal Carrier... only if you're planning on chaning the gearing in the near future... other than that... no point really.

For stumping up a £100 or so for the carrier it does mean that you can save about £30 each time you need to replace the rear sprocket tho...

£30 each time... you're looking at once a year on a bad year... so you're looking 3 years before you actually recoup the cost of the carrier....

Ok just got a new chain on the bike so feelin a lot happier now and everything seems to be working a lot eisier too
