I took my KTM 950 Adventure in for a service and the dealer lent me a 950 Supermoto for a few hours.

WOW mad as a ferret down your undies!

Handles great, stunning brakes, and a bloody good engine, top fun and some top roads to play on. Beats working on a red hot Tuesday:D

I had one out last week , was a bit dissapointed with it though , its really smooth and for most ridding its prob faster than the liter jap bikes , but it never really done anything for me :(

Dealer is Triple D in Kendal. My local dealer sounds similar to Bracken but maybe not quite as helpfull and efficient:lol:

When i rang round various dealers looking for some stuff i needed urgently before a trip that seemed to be on back order from the factory Triple D were mega helpfull and took the bits i needed off their demo bike just to help out. I now use them for servicing and they really seem to look after customers well.

Interesting Totto that you weren't inspired by the 950, i loved it down the roads i took it on and if i could justify another bike i'd give it serious consideration, along with a 640SM, RC30 etc etc. Intersting it feels smoother than my 950 Adventure which supposedly has the same engine. Mind you my 950 runs TKC80 knobbly tyres at the moment and they generate a lot of noise and vibration in comparison to full road tyres, but then again they work far better off road.

One mans meat is anothers poison.

I drove to the dealers on an LC4 sm ,and though after the test that if you want a Super moto then get a super moto , not a big gike made to be like a super moto

It was fun and smooth but not for me , the lc4 sm is even more fun but less practical :)
