I went on the MCN website to look at 2005 999 second hand bikes prices but most are dealers ads... and few 05 bikes -
What could be a serious value estimate for a 2005 bike biposto (no S or R) , 2500 miles, all certified services at ducati, lot of accessories and all the oem parts too, still under warranty??

I don't want to sell my bike..but I know that I will have to go back to Italy this year. So I need to take in consideration selling or go through the process of registration in Italy of an UK bike, etc. etc......

Thanks guys..

The problems you'll face if you leave it to the autumn to sell are two fold in my opinion:

1 Ducatis sell for the best money in May/June with low prices the only driver of sales as you approach winter.
2 The launch of the 999 replacement in November, if liked by the market, will drive 999 prices down even further, especially if Ducati give it 916 styling cues and introduce a 1100cc engine.

... or you could leave it with me for safekeeping Fabio.

I'm sure you'll be back in the UK soon! ;)

Good Idea David !! :-)

Well I may decide to give it away now....... not in Autumm.. and it is ready for this summer!!
But I really have no idea of a fair price to ask - price that can interest buyers.

Won't Bayliss be needing his bike for the rest of the year though Fabio?

Does this mean if I go back to Mugello next year for the moto gp, fellow DSC members will have the best tour guide in the business, beer required as payement of course.
