Arai Corsair repairs

The left hand side pod (looking to the helmet from the front) on my Arai Taddy rep has a broken top lug that now means it will not locate at all.

Anyone know how/where you can get replacements?

I know it's not local but call my mate in Hein Gerricke, he is an official service guy and would be able to give advice and tell if there was anyone was more local if he could not help.

I have found in the past if you see the Arai service people at a race meeting they will give you a set of side plates and new fittings FOC.
This has happened at both Oulton Park and Misano
All part of the service they told me !!!

THE only thing is, if it's a DUCATI Arai, Phoenix won't supply parts so you have to go to Ducati Dealer to get the right side pods. Pain in the bum cos they take longer to get that Phoenix.

Apparently the Arai insides are grey, and the Ducati Arai's are blue inside, and Ducati will not supply Phoenix any parts as they want us to go thru them! Humph

It's as bad as trying to get Ducati Oakley's. Oakley stockists sell them, but if you're a Ducati Dealer, Oakley won't supply you, you have to get them from Ducati, which can take months to arrive! Who makes these daft rules?
