Pretty much everything on this machine is carbon fibre.... it's ridiculously impressive.....
Brembo P4's on there... lightweight wheels... a few engine mods, Ohlins road and tracks... etc etc.... long long list.....

looks a bit of a ugly duckling to me from that angle

I just think it's too carbon.
The seat unit looks naff.
The Akrapovic pipe is horrible.
Gold levers??!?!?!
It needs some decals to break it up a bit.
I understand why someone would do this, but I don't think it's been done very well.
Just my personal thoughts, and I race a green/white/red/black Monster with a R6 seat
Take no notice of me ;)
anyway - I thought this was the DSC not the YAUAHC?!?!?!?

Levers i must agree with...can't see why he wouldn't have a nice black Brembo radial on there....
pipes are pretty much of a muchness on IL4's of this age and genre... unless you go underseat, that's about as good/bad as it gets..
Decals... nah... not IMO
Have to agree, too much carbon on display is a baaaad thing. I thought the same when I first saw some all-carbon 916s back in the day. Nothing looks cooler than well-painted carbon with just a little of it showing through (996r).

Spot on Ali. I'm afraid to say that even when Jasper and Khush had their full carbon 748's (I think they were both 748's) that the full carbon look didn't float my boat - no disrespect guys, they just looked a bit, well, unfinished.
Not saying that any 150 mph + carbon fibre missile isn't sexy, but well painted carbon with just a little natural carbon showing through is really, really sexy...in the same way that Nicole Kidman would be sexy naked, but even sexier with tantalising lingerie.
I'm just off for a cold shower now.....NURSE!!!

Live and let live.
He has dreamed of this bike for years and now he has it - at least his dream was harder to reach than just a standard R1.
Specials aren't to everyone's taste (or they wouldn't be special!) and the most important thing is that the owner is happy. He's going to feel it in the wallet if he ends up selling it though.
btw, no I don't like it either!
