bump...ecu connectors

Had a highside the other weekend. Apart from splitting my leathers and leaving a patch of skin and leg on the track, my bike dropped on its right side. usual damage, handlebar and foot peg. Barry's fairing did not survive and the battery casing was scrapped. However the 2 connectors into the ECU were also scuffed. Looking at the Ducati manual it looks like these connectors are connected to the wiring loom direct with no other connectors. .
Would a good mechanic be able to replce only the connectors or am I into a bigger job here?

If you can find the connectors they could be replaced by a competent auto electrician like Simon Phillips who is half owner of a Alfa and Fiat specialist along with Senna3.
Some of the cars they work on use the same 5.9M ECU and so far they haven't found a supplier of connectors other than getting a harness from the breakers.

As the harness all plugs together, it might be better to replace it with one from ebay or a breakers. Although I havent done it, I have unplugged mine, amd it doesnt look too bad a job, and there is nothing like a factory made loom for reliabilty!
