I did wonder about posting this but the timing seems just too poignant.

Firstly Nelly mentioned that "Bloo Duke" might be available for us to see at the SS/SL meeting soon and then the Cadwell TD coming up fast as well, had me following some old threads and I ended up at this one:

In a quiet but moving ceremony, Mort made his final journey to Cadwell yesterday - 25th July 2005.

His family made the journey from Leicestershire, and with a few DSC in attendance scattered his ashes in the woods overlooking Hall Bends.

RIP you owd bugga, you'll be sorely missed.

Treasure what you have and those around you.

Cheers Paul, I'll raise a glass to you soon!

Frank.

Hear, hear, Frank. I do miss Paul, one of a kind that he was.

I'll drink to that. Bloo Duke is a nice legacy for a really good guy - an inspired bike, and I would love to have something like it myself.

Shame about the Bloo though, Mort and I used to swap banter about his choice of colour and I don't see any reason to stop now ;)

For those of you going to Nelly's tomorrow for the ss meet, I'll see you there hopefully with Paul's old bloo herself.
Cheers

Wow I was only thinking of Paul the other day after seeing a post about nelly on another forum. I'd also like to add that is so good to see some old faces still lurking on the board.

Good old Mort, was a big loss to the club as he was such a character, I always say a quick hello when I'm up at Cadwell
