Slicks - 996 tyre sizes

I am thinking of trying slicks on my 996SPS track bike (purely because its a track only bike) I assume I run the same size tyres as a standard road bike with 190 rear? Any suggestions on the best manufacturer to go for?

Michelin do a selection of slicks - Track Day or Full race.

Sizes - 12/60 - 17 front and 18/67 - 17 rear.
