I have a 748R I am thinking of selling and I was hoping for a estimate of what i could get for it privately. I am the third owner of this 'R' model in red with just under 6k miles. Its on a 53 plate with a full service history. Just had belts changed. A couple of marks on it but nothing major. Has a carbon rear hugger, alarmed (META). No leaking seals! New Metzeler M1 tyres. Flip up stand modified. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Check out what others are asking on www.autotrader.co.uk, MCN and there's an online version of Parkers now?

In my opinion, you have one of THE most desirable Ducatis.I appreciate that value is ultimately what someone is willing to pay, but I hope you hold out for a good price and dont give it away. There weren't many on a 53 plate either.....

Thanks for the replies. Autotrader et al - you cant tell what someone really gets in the end - parkers say up to £7200 on a 52 plate. I am asking for a more realistic idea from like minded peeps!

I've seen 02 bikes in the dealers for £7500-7750.

They're lovely bikes and to someone who knows what an R is and wants one then I think £6000-6500 should be easily realisable.
