I take back what I said about being in 12th on the first lap, the pics I was looking at (also taken by Alec) were of the warm up lap...DoH!)
I have absolutely no idea how I got such a good start, and really, I should have done better and got dragged along a bit by you guys. Phil did say that if I gave you 500 yards I'd never get it back, but that sort of turned into quite a few seconds and a bit more than 500 yards!!!!
Glenn has a lovely style on the bike, as does Sparrowchild...er...I mean Hawkman :)
I however, just look as though I've shat in my leathers, which I may well have done...it was my first grid start for 3 years! :o

I think you finished exactly where you were expected to (by me and Phil anyway). However, the fact you did it from 22nd on the grid and with the minimal time on the bike, was what made it much more impressive.
You can win races thats for sure, but next season there will be about 8 riders who can too - arse!! ;)

Yeah, annoying aint it. Although I look like cr@p and I've won 4 races this year :lol:
