Hi here I show u some pics of the "889" that raced 2 years ago:
Ducati 888 with an special preparation to "wear" a 998 engine and single swing arm, apart from loads of extras.
One of the 3 riders qualified it on 6th.
Retired on the 8 hour (after riding between the first fifteen) with oil drinking problems...

Nope!!
The bike was doing 1.54 happily, (much quicker than the 999 out there). Pole position for this race is highs 1.51. Running like that they would have probably finish in the top 12...

I didn't race not worked, the previous 2 years I did work there.
