View Full Version : Starange Clutch Noise
No, before you all say "they all do that you idiot" it's a constant noise/squeek comming from deep inside the clutch. I thought it may be the pressure plate, but the noise carried on when the plates were removed. The noise seems to be coming from behind the hub. Any thoughts?

If you turn the back wheel while in gear on a paddock stand (with engine off) is there still a squeek? Or if you rotate the clutch by basket by hand?

No, it's only when hot and running. it's a similar sound to a fan belt slipping!

MMMmmm, i would suggest you get someone to check it over before you run it any more . Sounds like something a bit more suspect. Sorry mate
Try calling Mike at MDracing in Ewell , 07783 024248. Or your dealer.
Possible oil problem or maybe a cambelt pulley bearing giving up. Difficult to say for sure.

Well nice bloke. Does mine and others.
Maybe even worth a polite call tomorrow at a sensible hour. He can collect as well.

I'll have a chat tomorrow, if he's in Ewell I'll be able to push it to him...
Thanks again!

No worries. It's what the club is for.
