I was thinking recently of the bikes that I have previously owned and it occured to me that I have owned 6 Ducatis over the years.
748,748s,996s,998s Bostrom,999r and 998s Bostrom again.
What Ducatis have other members owned and how many, can anyone beat six?

I say with great pride, that I popped my cherry this year.
My st4s is my first, of hopefully many a happy year spent with an Italian (bike that is).
:)
I've had a few aswell.
900SL MK1, 900SL MK3, 900SL MK5, 2x 851 strada's, 916BP 916SPS, 996SPS, 998R. They all been and gone, still have another 900SL MK1 and the 888SPS heap.
I think that's more than enough to be honest, wasted way to much wonga on all of em.
would do it all again though, well allmost......

2002 748R, 2002 998s mono, 2003 999R...........

6 for me since 1998 -
750 Monster, 996Bip, 996SPS, S4 Monster, Multistrada, 999R
I'm still on my first... but I have had it 5 years now
Does this count:: I used to be paid to put miles on brand new Ducati's for 2 years...... they weren't my personal propery but I could treat them like my own....... that was a good job.......
Only two for me since learning to ride three years ago,
M600 monster, 916 BP
both from 1995, both rough around the edges and still own both of them.

Ah ... but what might be interesting (possibly) is what other manufacturers DSC'ers entertain in their garage and if they've ever gone away from Ducati, come back and why.
I have to admit I had a VFR800 (the VTEC jobbie) for a year or so a couple of years back.
Just the 2 for me 996 & Monster S4
350, 900 Darmah, 500 Pantah, 750SS Belt, 916Strada, 450, 900SS Belt, 900SS Bevel, 750 Sport Bevel, a different 350, 2 race 350s, TT2 600, 900/851SP special, 748SPS, 600SS, 620 Monster, 620 Monster Racer, 750SS Belt.
Thats all I think.
Oh, only got about 10 at the moment tho :o

Dukes?
I've had a few!
But then they're not,
too few to mention!
To start,
2002,
and yellow too
750SSie :ninja:
And then,
2003,
yellow again,
998Bip,
that nearly killed me ;)
and 2 years on,
I came back for more,
Monster 583
in DesmoDue!!
At the same time,
I invested in,
for next year,
a Monster 620,
But now,
much more than them
MultiStrada R1080 :p
Just two for me.
2001 ST2 and a 1993 888 Strada, both of which I still own. I'm only at the start of my days as a Ducati junkie, but if all goes to plan next year I will be moving house and have a big garage to fill
Just the 2 Ducati's
900SS
and the
748SP which has evolved some what

I'm genuinely sorry to hear that Jasp. I do hope your ops are successful. I shattered my hip in 2002 and I'm still riding (sort of....ask the BHC) so I'm sure you'll be on the SP5 for many years.
