As per the title really...

There was a thread sometime ago on a similar topic but, the marketplace seems to move quickly these days and I wondered if there were any new / better players these days other than Boots / Klick etc?

What size are you after Frank?
If it is anything up to A3 size then you could try Costco (membership required).

Alternatively, there is a place near me that can print any size onto canvas. Not cheap (think a couple of hundred pounds) but quite special. Let me know if you need the number.

Cheers guys - I should of said that its only actually for holiday snaps.

This is first time I've ONLY taken a digital camera on holidays and left the 35mm at home, so I've got quite a few pics to get printed

We use the Kodak machines in Boots.... guess it depends what quality you are after, but for general photos they seem to be ok

Pixmania.Com. I've used them and they are very good. Just upload digital images and tell them what sizes you want.

I used Max Spielman worked out at £7 odd for 52 5x7 prints. 48 hr turn around if your not in a rush, or you can pay more for instant or 1 hr

Try Photobox.co.uk - I've used them for a couple of years for all sorts of stuff. Simple to use, free to register and quick, very good quality service.

:o !!!

I paid £35 to have an image printed on canvas a few months back. Frame was 24" x 16" and the even printed some text on the side (happy birthday, date, etc).

There's quite a few uk-based services on the web now, and you can always use on like kodakgallery in the states as they're cheaper and you're unlikely to get stung on import duty.

Cheers,

Ali

and how much would it be if it was 6' x 4'? ;)

If it's just holiday snaps then I use Costco - it's about 8p a print and fairly quick turnaround. Just take your memory card or CD Rom and the software does the rest for you.
