I opened the door for the first time in 6 weeks,it seemed like forever since i'd seen him.
I was apprehensive and excited all at the same time, fumbling with the handle and dropping my keys in my eagerness to get to him.

I could feel his presence behind the door, willing me to hurry up. Finally it opened... and there he was..

Naked before my admiring eyes.

I lingered over his lines, his curves, he stood before me silent and brooding, expectant of the fun that was to befall us both.

Time stood still as i looked over inch of his perfect form - I sighed a deep
satisfying sigh.

I edged nearer, my hands were shaking but i knew i had to touch him, to stroke him, to feel him once more.

Then I could wait no longer, the animal within needed to be awakened, I needed to hear him purr.....

So i turned the key and away he went.

I loooooove my bike :D

Those transcontinental flights are not doing you any good Lin, you need to watch the in flight movie rather than reading all those Mills & Boon novels

I thought for one moment that this was a follow on from your winter jacket thread.

On a cold winter morning, I really love nothing better to go on my feet than a nice thick pair of fleecy, woollen, thermal lined ones.

That, for me, is the joy of socks....

OK I'll get my coat

I've ordered a Celcius one from busters - so be prepared if it's as good as you say it is:eek:

Am I the only one who thinks of their bike as a 'she'? ;)

Reading this as a 'he' left me a tad uncomfortable (haha! :D), but re-reading it as a she and I couldn't wait to go ..."my hands were shaking but i knew i had to touch HER, to stroke HER, to feel HER once more..."

Sod it, I'm going out to fondle me bike :)

What's that got to do with "The joy of socks"...back on topic please.

I'm looking forward to the next episode. Can't wait to see if....Oh no, I'm thinking "legs, monster, throbbing" type clichés now.

Time for a cold shower..... and can somebody call the nurse for my tablets :p
