Just a polite note for anyone doing Saturday's DD races...

Hi Dominic

I've just got back from a week off which is why I've not replied to your earlier email. The arrangement we have with the DSC is that they provide any trophies required for Desmo Due races, so as it stands I'm afraid we won't be providing any.

you're right, who'd want to parade all their trophies?


AND

How about we all bring out trophies etc so that at some point ( sat arvo sunday arvo.?) we can get the two championship winning bikes PLUS ALL the DD riders together etc for a group shot that we can get in Pronto and BSW and other press coverage.!

I thought racing was all about the the buzz??, priceless memories of hard fought battles either won or lost??, getting one over on the opposition, overtaking in the places where the sooth sayers said it couldn't be done, beating the "unbeatable" be it the opposition or setting a personal best???

Kids today................I blame the junk food.

Think of all the dusting a "No trophy" policy saves:D

I'll bring a box down if ya like to Cadwell on Sunday any particular preferences, tankards, pewter or glass, plastic thingys stuck to marbel or wood.:lol:

Hope "the handbrake" hasn't binned them, got some not motorsport related putty medals as well, won't need the engraving altering much if ya have a "doubles race":lol:

Great idea Dom,

Even if I'm not doing the Saturday races, I think something to present is important, although try a trophy shop as those on ebay are worth about 60pence...

If I didnt present 60 sets of 6 trophies next month for our swimming club there would be some very upset people...
