Nick,

Have just picked up your e-mail and would ask for at least 15 minutes to digest its content!

This is one of the reasons why they are draft, so we can iron any kinks out!

How does an outsider (read DSC member) get to view the rules?................

At the moment it is still in consultation phase, as the 2007 rules are not yet agreed. I think it's wise that the current DD racers get to look over the rules first and see what they think, as we have had experience with them over the last couple of years and know where most of the "cheats" are and hence what holes need plugging.

Once the rules are approved then I guess you would be able to get a copy from the MT.

Are you sure you know where the "cheats" are Antony?

...and who's hole are you plugging?

Oh yes, we've got plenty on our bike ;)

I have to get it where I can these days ... doesn't pay to be picky!

I'm pretty dissapointed in them to be honest, it means a new topic for whinging about is needed :)

How about they are out too early ? ;) ;) ;)

Technical Error spotted I think : section 1.6.10
I was advised by a scrutineer at snetterton whilst waiting in the parc ferme that I had my catch tray bung removed and that was not correct, as the rule had changed two years ago - bungs now have to be fitted for all track time. (And that makes more sense to me than removing it anyway)

I don't think you're even supposed to have bungs anymore. The bellypan should be solid with no holes or bungs.

I'm sure I read somewhere that the advice was to glass over the holes if you have them!

Good spot though!

I wondered if that was the hole in the regs that antonye was talking about ?
