pop it in the microwave for 4 mins on full power and see if it begins to smell like roast pork........

Since the box comes from Frank Thomas I would guess at an exhaust.

Simple:

BDG's branched out into organ donor transportation for the NHS and the box was rubbing up against another one in the van.
