has anyone had any experience with them? because they have got a decent 748 for its only done 5,500 miles on an 02 plate in vgc but the only want £4750 and for a dealer i would of thought that's really cheap
Never used them myself but come highly recommended by most on here.

Excellent family run business. All my Ducs over the past 10 years have come from them and they do all my servicing.

I guess it's relevant to what you want. Snells come highly recommended on here, I've never used them though so couldn't comment.
£4750 is a touch on the high side I think - depending on what it is you want. You can get a nice 996 for that, if you wanted one. If you're keen on a low mileage, late model, mint 748 then I still think it's a little on the high side ... the most important thing here though is it's service history and when the next service is due.
If it's due a service shortly, and remember they're time based as well as mileage based, then it will add a fair bit and give you a strong negotiating position. Usual stuff applies, it's worth what you're happy to pay for it and if you're prepared to walk away and find something else you'll be better off in your negotiating process.
There's plenty of Ducati's for sale, you're buying at a good time.
Good luck :D
I'd recommend snells, they treat me ok and they've even put my pic on the wall!
You should get that price down a bit i'd've thought.

I wouldnt say it was big enough to qualify as a crack tho Roy!
Tom, I'd totally recommend Snells to buy fro and to look after your bike's servicing mate, honest reliable family run business who rely on word of mouth recommendation, and do quite well for it too. Talk to Tom there if you can.

Very good, bikes in there today for a service, I have a nice Multistrada to play on. I have been going there for about five years.
Only used them for servicing and will definitely go back, would be the dealer I would start at when looking for another ducati.
Only read one bad post relating to Snells on here and that was complaining about the price of something, cant remeber what.
They are also polite and curteous, which goes a long way in my book.

I've used loads of official duke dealers over the years and based on my experience they are head and shoulders above the rest. They show real enthusiasm for what they do, do what they say there going to do, and at the right price.
Though they have gone down in my estimations if theyve slapped a picture of nick on the wall - wonder if I can borrow it to keep the trick or treaters away in a few weeks !!!!?
