as readers of my earlier posts will know, I'm a bit keen on doing things differently, so I thought it about time I set to the hyper. The plans are:

Twin exhausts, Desmo tail section, Slipper clutch, ohlins forks, larger brakes, black paint, various other bits and bobs as the mood takes me.

So far, I've done the clutch, replaced every nut and bolt with stainless, give her a dam good servicing. Today I started in the exhaust:

I started by making a mirror of the DP bracket out of card and then transposing to 3mm stainless

Next up was to turn some ally spacers as the left hand side if the frame is a slightly different shape to the right

Once I had all the parts made, it was just a case of bolting it all together to see how it sits Although I can't do final fitment, shortening cans and pipe work until the (a) tail unit turns up.

That's enough for today. What do you think? More to follow as I get deeper into the work.

Oh, and I'm still on the look out for a set of black fairing if anyone knows of some or fancies a red swap.

These are just a more permanent fix for the makeshift ones I had yesterday for setting out purposes.
