mmmm wasnt sure i wanted a 1098....... was thinking of waiting for the R...... but the mono in red with Carbon :-)

Is the S version going to be the best overall bet? Price v spec?? I was disappointed to learn that the last versions of 999s were 'beefier' than 999r - shouldn't the r vesion always be able to retain the 'edge'?
