Excellent. I know the Middleton/Alston road well, and it almost felt like being there. (..in fact it'll save me getting the bike out today!)

Alston to Brampton - the latter half of the A689 from Halton Lea Gate. Love it.

Sony bullet cam from RF Concepts - mounted in the right hand side air conveyor with self-adhesive foam around the body to isolate it from the vibes.
Canon 830i/850i mini-dv cam (can't quite remember which one) mounted on the tank. You need a camcorder with an analogue input to use a bullet cam.

It's much much harder going out the way I did it...I found myself feathering the throttle a bit too often. Going towards Alston I'm quicker.

that way still catches me out, theres a few sets of bends that i always forget about :(

It's in DivX format so, you will need to install the DivX codec.

Nobody in here wants to see you thrashing the pips off your Deauville and listen to me short-shifting at 3-4k rpm ;)

Aww! What happened to the Alston/Hartside video links? I was enjoying watching these once in a while. (..I'll get S.A.D. over the winter months if I can't get up there on the bike now!)
