Having read the Performance Bike comment on the damage that a broken chain can do to the engine cases, does anyone know if the DSC member who was selling a plate to protect against this (Skidlids?) is still doing so?

Cheers

I had a 748 that snapped a chain at Donington a few years back and it made a horrible mess of the cases. I cant believe I'm the only other one

No ... It just reminded me that a small amount of money spent now might be a good idea.

Sorry Colin
I did read the PM on 17th Nov and had none left so was going to see Adrian (Moley on Ebay) about getting some more. With lots going on at the time I was supposed to put up a link to the ones on Ebay which is the Mk2 ones that we developed. FOr some reason it slipped my mind.

He's sold a few through Ebay with many going to europe, so will keep making them as long as there is demand

if they want them I'm sure Adrian can supply them

At £14.28 including postage for stainless isn't a bad price, they are made on a CNC metal punching machine and then two bending machines are used for the shape and bending the tags over.

I could probably have made my own but working stainless is a pain so I enlisted Adrians help and many a DSC member benifitted.
We know they fit a wide range of Ducati engines and I don't know of anybody having any problems with them
