I'm a Piping Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry, currently working for a US EPC contractor, executing a gas complex expansion project in Abu Dhabi. At present, on assignment supervising Phase 4 detailed design at one of our Global Execution Centres (fancy name for low-cost) in Poland.

I can do corporate-speak :D :D

Cheers

Sounds interesting, but like most jobs, it becomes tedious after doing it for long enough... but it does allow me to travel and see places I wouldn't normally go

'Home' is wherever I happen to be, but truly 'at home' is in the UK, no question about it, even if it does take time to re-adjust after being away.

As there are new people joining all the time and it was a boring Saturday night, I just thought I'd strike up conversation. That thread, the last post was back in September and I didnt know about it so I presume there are some other new comers who didnt know about it either. However, its all very iteresting to know who does what and of course, people do change their careers. Thanks anyway. :)
